Wonder League Robotics Competition

Robotics coding is the new team sport for future tech leaders and innovators. Gather teams of kids ages 6-8, 9-11, and 12-14, to join a global community of competitors, poised to learn and demonstrate 21st-century skills.

What is Required to Get Started?

• A team made up of a supervising adult coach and one to five student members.

• A compatible device, such as iPad or other tablet.

• A 5′ x 8′ mat of 30cm squares and basic prototyping materials.

• Teams in the 6-8 & 9-11 age brackets will need a Dash robot. Available from Sunburst Digital.

• Teams in the 12-14 age bracket will need a Cue robot. Available from Sunburst Digital.

• Internet access to download and upload materials.

Designed for elementary students, Dot is a clever little robot with multiple sensors and a quirky personality. Using its accelerometer and IR sensors, Dot can respond to its environment, and can even turn into a controller for Dash! Students will learn about robotics and develop fundamental coding and problem-solving skills while having fun.

Cue - A Wonder Workshop Robotics Robot
CUE

Built for middle school students, Cue is a clever robot that takes robot interaction to the next level. Easily convert between block-based programming or text-based code. Create dynamic graphical programs to make Cue react to sensor input with lifelike behaviors. With Control mode, you can directly pilot Cue or engage any of three Emotive AI modes as you seek, avoid, and explore.
